After a rather tough play, Selange's Bernard Waron got a free kick in the 6th minute. Benjamin Horemans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Claus Verschelde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Selange's Tran De Scheper in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Nitipong United's goalie prevented a goal. Dean Vandenberge made a great header on Selange's corner, it was just that FC Nitipong United's Antoine Backers managed to reach the ball for a save. After 23 played minutes FC Nitipong United got a freekick which was hit by Gregoire Roosendael. Dean Vandenberge took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Antoine Backers. FC Nitipong United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jannes Raniers lost his temper 26 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 25 minutes into the game, one of Selange:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Greg De Tapp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Antoine Backers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Greg De Tapp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute of the match Dreas Bernardts sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claus Verschelde skillfully saved the ball.

Benjamin Horemans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Claus Verschelde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 63 minutes, Alex Beekman made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Selange's Claus Verschelde tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Alex Beekman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alex Beekman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Claus Verschelde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ruud Van Gijsel fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Selange's protests and gave Ruud Van Gijsel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Selange getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ruud Van Gijsel hit a great ball. Claus Verschelde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Beekman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Gregoire Roosendael managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Nitipong United's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregoire Roosendael was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claus Verschelde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Nitipong United's Antoine Backers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save FC Nitipong United from getting a goal against them. Alex Beekman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claus Verschelde having to interfere. In the 89th match minute, Selange was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernard Waron to maneuver through the defense. FC Nitipong United's Alex Beekman got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Nitipong United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
