RSC Brabant's Tommy De Jaeger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save RSC Brabant from getting a goal against them. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernd Omblet to make the kick off. When Augustijn de la Croix fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RSC Brabant's protests and gave Augustijn de la Croix a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Borchtlombeek booed when RSC Brabant was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augustijn de la Croix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yannik Hofnagels took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommy De Jaeger. RSC Brabant's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The throw-in from Yannik Hofnagels in the 67th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by RSC Brabant's Augustijn de la Croix. Tom De Ceuster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy De Jaeger having to interfere. When Tom De Ceuster came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Borchtlombeek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tom De Ceuster couldn't finish the play. After 76 played minutes RSC Brabant got a freekick which was hit by Norbert Van De Velden. Tommy De Jaeger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom De Ceuster, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Borchtlombeek fully deserved thier win.
