After a defensive mix-up in Seraing United's zone, Dyllan Van Crickinghe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jasper Weygaerts came out of the goal and Dyllan Van Crickinghe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Seraing United's Jasper Weygaerts got control of the ball when Luukas Jacobs tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th minute, Dyllan Van Crickinghe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 36 minutes, Dyllan Van Crickinghe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VC Pittem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dyllan Van Crickinghe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jasper Weygaerts made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Luukas Jacobs sent off a good shot on target. Dyllan Van Crickinghe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dyllan Van Crickinghe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jasper Weygaerts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Corneel Ourogge to make the kick off. Luukas Jacobs might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jasper Weygaerts. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dyllan Van Crickinghe might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jasper Weygaerts. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When Louis-Philippe Wollans fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VC Pittem's protests and gave Louis-Philippe Wollans a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st match minute, VC Pittem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Louis-Philippe Wollans to maneuver through the defense. After 73 minutes, Brend Fondria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seraing United and the VC Pittem players grew even worse after the yellow card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jasper Weygaerts showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Seraing United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jonas Elsens was slow to take the kick. During this time VC Pittem's players had a chance to rest. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Amaury Van den Enden got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 3-0. 77 minutes into the match. Luukas Jacobs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Jasper Weygaerts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jasper Weygaerts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dyllan Van Crickinghe in the 82nd minute of the match. After 85 minutes of play, VC Pittem's Dyllan Van Crickinghe made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jasper Weygaerts was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 87th match minute, VC Pittem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Louis-Philippe Wollans to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Seraing United's goal looked a bit too open when Dyllan Van Crickinghe came free, but Jasper Weygaerts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the VC Pittem players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
