Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lode Jennis made the kick off which started today's match. Brain De Schepper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niki Demeester in the 9th minute of the match. When Club Malle's Lode Jennis in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VC Pittem's goalie prevented a goal. Brain De Schepper made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niki Demeester in the 17th minute. If Lode Jennis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Club Malle's goal looked a bit too open when Luukas Jacobs came free, but Jeffrey Weygaers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Club Malle getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Arnold Peters hit a great ball. Jonas Elsens was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dyllan Van Crickinghe in the 39th minute of play forced Club Malle's goalkeeper Jeffrey Weygaers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Niki Demeester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Lode Jennis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dyllan Van Crickinghe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lode Jennis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lode Jennis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Brain De Schepper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in VC Pittem's zone, Niki Demeester stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brain De Schepper came out of the goal and Niki Demeester tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd match minute, VC Pittem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxime Hemeleers to maneuver through the defense. Niki Demeester recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute Lode Jennis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brain De Schepper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Niki Demeester came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Club Malle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niki Demeester couldn't finish the play. Luukas Jacobs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeffrey Weygaers having to interfere. Jeffrey Weygaers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dyllan Van Crickinghe's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Mathieu Acke's late challenge caught a VC Pittem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mathieu Acke helped the player get up and apologised. 79 minutes into the game, one of Club Malle:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jeffrey Weygaers was a little too slow when Dyllan Van Crickinghe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-2. When Dyllan Van Crickinghe fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VC Pittem's protests and gave Dyllan Van Crickinghe a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes VC Pittem got a freekick which was hit by Dyllan Van Crickinghe. Dyllan Van Crickinghe got his second yellow card in the match during the 92nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Club Malle booed when VC Pittem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dyllan Van Crickinghe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeffrey Weygaers made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Luukas Jacobs sent off a good shot on target.
