Rene Thijs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brain De Schepper having to make a save. Dan Steckens charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dan Steckens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd minute of the match Jonas Elsens shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anthoon Van Deijck showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bart-Jan Descamps fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brain De Schepper having to interfere. Brain De Schepper made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bart-Jan Descamps in the 28th minute. Anthoon Van Deijck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dyllan Van Crickinghe in the 31st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bart-Jan Descamps got free with Brain De Schepper in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Rene Thijs made the kick off in the second half. Rene Thijs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Brain De Schepper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Rene Thijs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brain De Schepper was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Maxime Hemeleers charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maxime Hemeleers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maxime Hemeleers kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. If Luukas Jacobs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luukas Jacobss short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Anthoon Van Deijck to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Brain De Schepper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Steckens, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, VC Pittem's Louis-Philippe Wollans got a free kick in the 78th minute. If Dyllan Van Crickinghe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the game, Xander-Paul Buyck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Anthoon Van Deijck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 94th minute, Dyllan Van Crickinghe reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anthoon Van Deijck. The goal made the score 1-3. VC Pittem's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
