Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) AFC Richmond's Christoph Verstuyft started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Artuur Breugelmans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Wespelaar's Laurent Van Houtvinc got control of the ball when Artuur Breugelmans tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Pierrot Daneels fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wespelaar's protests and gave Pierrot Daneels a yellow card for diving instead. Pierrot Daneels hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. When Christoph Verstuyft came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the AFC Richmond fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christoph Verstuyft couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Rene Heremans managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC Richmond's supporters rose to their feet, but Rene Heremans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laurent Van Houtvinc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Laurent Van Houtvinc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christoph Verstuyft, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Wespelaar's Luukas Van den Berchen got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Laurent Van Houtvinc came out of the goal and Christoph Verstuyft tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 26 minutes into the match, Wespelaar's goalkeeper Laurent Van Houtvinc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artuur Breugelmans. Wespelaar's Laurent Van Houtvinc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoph Verstuyft in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Timy Maerschalks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yens Van De Wijngaert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Maxim Mestdagh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maxim Mestdagh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timy Maerschalks's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. The goalkeeper, Laurent Van Houtvinc, was totally fooled by AFC Richmond's Daevy Ramps, who 33 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With a little luck, Wespelaar's Laurent Van Houtvinc got control of the ball when Artuur Breugelmans tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Christoph Verstuyft's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laurent Van Houtvinc was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. In the 47th minute, Teo Neef hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Wespelaar's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Maxim Mestdagh didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yens Van De Wijngaert went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Artuur Breugelmans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Laurent Van Houtvinc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christoph Verstuyft sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laurent Van Houtvinc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artuur Breugelmans in the 70th minute of the match. Artuur Breugelmans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurent Van Houtvinc having to interfere. 76 minutes in the game, Artuur Breugelmans dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 79th minute Artuur Breugelmans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurent Van Houtvinc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute of the match Daevy Ramps sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Laurent Van Houtvinc skillfully saved the ball. In the 92ndth minute of the game Artuur Breugelmans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wespelaar's Laurent Van Houtvinc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Artuur Breugelmans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurent Van Houtvinc having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Artuur Breugelmans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
