After 2 played minutes Nowotarscy Rozbojnicy got a freekick which was hit by Joos Van De Wiele. When Nic Van Aarschot fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Chaumont-Gistoux's protests and gave Nic Van Aarschot a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Nowotarscy Rozbojnicy booed when Club Chaumont-Gistoux was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nic Van Aarschot didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Joos Van De Wiele managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nowotarscy Rozbojnicy's supporters rose to their feet, but Joos Van De Wiele was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mitch Castermans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brend Gillis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Mitch Castermans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Brend Gillis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nowotarscy Rozbojnicy's supporters rose to their feet, but Brend Gillis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mitch Castermans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mitch Castermans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wart Huytterhoeven, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henri De Keuster got free with Vadim Burak in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Nowotarscy Rozbojnicy's Dries Verelst got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute Francis Ruelens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vadim Burak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Club Chaumont-Gistoux booed when Nowotarscy Rozbojnicy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brend Gillis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raf Rondas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mitch Castermans having to interfere. Wart Huytterhoeven's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mitch Castermans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Nowotarscy Rozbojnicy's Brend Gillis got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Club Chaumont-Gistoux's Mitch Castermans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raf Rondas in the 44th minute of play. If Wart Huytterhoeven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oscar Pluijssens to strike the kick off in the second half. Vadim Burak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henri De Keuster in the 55th minute of play. When Guillaume Scheppers fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henri De Keuster in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vadim Burak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. During the 70th minute of the match Guillaume Scheppers completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Guillaume Scheppers a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 71st match minute, Club Chaumont-Gistoux was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillaume Scheppers to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Nowotarscy Rozbojnicy's Florian Tielemans in action when he in the 73rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 75th minute, Wart Huytterhoeven ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mitch Castermans was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Brend Gillis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Mitch Castermans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Nowotarscy Rozbojnicy's goal looked a bit too open when Henri De Keuster came free, but Vadim Burak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Henri De Keuster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henri De Keuster recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard, long distance shot from Lou Geldhof flew over the goal. Nowotarscy Rozbojnicy played a much better game than Club Chaumont-Gistoux and deserved their victory. The Club Chaumont-Gistoux players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
