Mitch Castermans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henri-Xavier Billen in the 7th minute of play. Qwinten De Weyngaert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Mitch Castermans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henri De Keuster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carel Justus having to interfere. Lou Geldhof fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carel Justus having to interfere. In the 27th minute, KSV Ramillies's Henri-Xavier Billen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mitch Castermans. Mitch Castermans yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The supporters of KSV Ramillies booed when Club Chaumont-Gistoux was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nic Van Aarschot didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd match minute, Club Chaumont-Gistoux was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lou Geldhof to maneuver through the defense. Oscar Pluijssens blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carel Justus having to make a save. After 42nd play minutes Henri De Keuster shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Carel Justus and just under the crossbar into goal. Lionel Colebrants's late challenge caught a Club Chaumont-Gistoux's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lionel Colebrants helped the player get up and apologised. Lionel Colebrants kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, KSV Ramillies's Edwin Van Geel got a free kick in the 48th minute.

The wind increased when Henri-Xavier Billen made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oscar Pluijssens got free with Carel Justus in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Henri De Keuster managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Chaumont-Gistoux's supporters rose to their feet, but Henri De Keuster was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carel Justus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of KSV Ramillies booed when Club Chaumont-Gistoux was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francis Ruelens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henri-Xavier Billen struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Mitch Castermans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KSV Ramillies.
