Serge Limpens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serge Limpens in the 8th minute of play forced El Real Jóvenes U 21's goalkeeper Gill Fossaert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dyllen Cesters blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gill Fossaert having to make a save. When Thobias Denturck fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Real Jóvenes U 21's protests and gave Thobias Denturck a yellow card for diving instead. Thobias Denturck kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Martin Vranken didn't quite understand what happened when in the 17 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Gill Fossaert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serge Limpens, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The supporters of KVSK Kontich booed when El Real Jóvenes U 21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunther Van de Schrieck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xander Steenberghs's late challenge caught a El Real Jóvenes U 21's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xander Steenberghs helped the player get up and apologised. Thobias Denturck took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Chris-George Koenens. KVSK Kontich's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 34th minute, Thobias Denturck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serge Limpens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gill Fossaert having to interfere. Gill Fossaert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serge Limpens in the 39th minute of the match. Henri Cempenaers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henri Cempenaers got free with Chris-George Koenens in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dyllen Cesters to make the kick off. Henri Cempenaers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 54 played minutes, El Real Jóvenes U 21's Andreas Verheijd shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Chris-George Koenens came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El Real Jóvenes U 21 reached it. Chris-George Koenens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brain Neels in the 55th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Brain Neels managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Real Jóvenes U 21's supporters rose to their feet, but Brain Neels was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chris-George Koenens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chris-George Koenens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henri Cempenaers in the 68th minute of play. The supporters of KVSK Kontich booed when El Real Jóvenes U 21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunther Van de Schrieck didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute Dyllen Cesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gill Fossaert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78thth minute of the game Dyllen Cesters who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Real Jóvenes U 21's Gill Fossaert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Henri Cempenaers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brain Neels blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chris-George Koenens having to make a save. In the 92nd minute Dyllen Cesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gill Fossaert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The KVSK Kontich players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented El Real Jóvenes U 21 from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
