Toon Vervoort's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacky Massenhove read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Tomm Demeyer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Constant Stessel went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Toon Vervoort's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacky Massenhove read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Bobby Cuveliers kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Jacky Massenhove made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sylvan Lemmens in the 33rd minute. The supporters of AFC De Haan booed when VC Vryheeren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gill De Hertoge didn't get a good kick on the ball. The AFC De Haan supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AFC De Haan would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
