In the 16th minute, Casper De kaiser got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joery Gilis's late challenge caught a Schaerbeek F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frederick Van Elsen was the one to do the kick off. Casper De kaiser struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Izak De Meesemaeckere didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schaerbeek F.C. A very good chance for a goal. 97 minutes into the match, Floreffe's goalkeeper Izak De Meesemaeckere had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maarten Daniels. The Schaerbeek F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Schaerbeek F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
