Klaas Van de Gaer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frederick Van Elsen's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Floreffe's goal looked a bit too open when Gerard Theys came free, but Izak De Meesemaeckere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Football Lovin Criminals fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Football Lovin Criminals's Tristan Decoster looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Frederick Van Elsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Football Lovin Criminals's Luukas Sanders got a free kick in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Football Lovin Criminals's goal looked a bit too open when Frederick Van Elsen came free, but Klaas Van de Gaer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Klaas Van de Gaer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christofere Hairpoel in the 41st minute of the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Christofere Hairpoel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Floreffe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christofere Hairpoel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jesse Raniers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Izak De Meesemaeckere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frederick Van Elsen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Floreffe's Frederick Van Elsen got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 53rd minute, Football Lovin Criminals's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Christofere Hairpoel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 76 played minutes, Floreffe's Axel Roulin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Klaas Van de Gaer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Floreffe reached it. Jesse Raniers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Izak De Meesemaeckere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joery Gilis charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joery Gilis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
