Spectators: 7510 (Terracing: 5633, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Octavian Hylen started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute of the match Karel-Jan Van Eede shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Klaas Van de Gaer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Football Lovin Criminals's goal looked a bit too open when Dreas Van Heerle came free, but Klaas Van de Gaer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 12 minutes, Jesse Raniers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Football Lovin Criminals's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesse Raniers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute, Dreas Van Heerle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Klaas Van de Gaer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dreas Van Heerle in the 25th minute of play forced Football Lovin Criminals's goalkeeper Klaas Van de Gaer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in U..CRAIOVA's zone, Tristan Decoster stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Seppe Van Groenderbeek came out of the goal and Tristan Decoster tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Octavian Hylen managed to get in a good position for a shot. U..CRAIOVA's supporters rose to their feet, but Octavian Hylen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Klaas Van de Gaer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Octavian Hylen might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Klaas Van de Gaer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Octavian Hylen ran back to his position shaking his head. Dreas Van Heerle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Octavian Hylen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Football Lovin Criminals players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. U..CRAIOVA were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jesse Raniers made a kick off. Seppe Van Groenderbeek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tristan Decoster in the 53rd minute of play. Jesse Raniers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seppe Van Groenderbeek having to interfere. If Tristan Decoster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laurent Van Riel charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laurent Van Riel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, U..CRAIOVA's Laurent Van Riel got a free kick in the 58th minute. U..CRAIOVA's Seppe Van Groenderbeek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tristan Decoster in the 66th minute of play. The supporters of Football Lovin Criminals booed when U..CRAIOVA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bobby Van Heurick didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jesse Raniers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Seppe Van Groenderbeek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tristan Decoster in the 71st minute of the match. Jesse Raniers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Seppe Van Groenderbeek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th match minute, Football Lovin Criminals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luukas Sanders to maneuver through the defense. Dreas Van Heerle scored 0-3 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Klaas Van de Gaer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd minute Tristan Decoster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seppe Van Groenderbeek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laurent Van Riel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Klaas Van de Gaer came out and tried to block the shot, but Laurent Van Riel slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 92nd minute. A collision led to Football Lovin Criminals getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Gerard Theys hit a great ball. 99 minutes into the match, Karel-Jan Van Eede sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Klaas Van de Gaer threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Karel-Jan Van Eede this time. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched U..CRAIOVA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
