Spectators: 7512 (Terracing: 5673, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gert-Jan Dedecker took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gert-Jan Dedecker in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michiel Geest saved VC Lizerne from getting behind. Alexandre Lanphan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gert-Jan Dedecker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 8 played minutes VC Lizerne got a freekick which was hit by Remie Van Cleijnenbruegel. Alexandre Lanphan struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Michiel Geest didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KV Etterbeek. A collision led to VC Lizerne getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Samuel Focquier hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jerome De Hont during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jerome De Hont hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Alexandre Lanphan came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Michiel Geest could save by the left post. KV Etterbeek's Jean Roels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remie Van Cleijnenbruegel in the 23rd minute of play. Gert-Jan Dedecker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remie Van Cleijnenbruegel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jean Roels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remie Van Cleijnenbruegel in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean Roels prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th match minute, KV Etterbeek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustav Lefevre to maneuver through the defense. Bryan De Fauw struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Jean Roels didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VC Lizerne. Jean Roels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walter Verschelde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Jean Roels made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Walter Verschelde sent off a good shot on target. When VC Lizerne's Remie Van Cleijnenbruegel in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The crowd rose to their feet as Remie Van Cleijnenbruegel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jean Roels. That made the score 1-2 in the 69 minute of play. In the 74th minute, Alexandre Lanphan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michiel Geest was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Walter Verschelde blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jean Roels having to make a save. Remie Van Cleijnenbruegel succeeded in the game's 87th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-3. Remie Van Cleijnenbruegel's late challenge caught a KV Etterbeek's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remie Van Cleijnenbruegel helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of KV Etterbeek booed when VC Lizerne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remie Van Cleijnenbruegel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walter Verschelde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Michiel Van Collenborgh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
