The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christopher Ablij in the 6th minute of play forced Sporting Okkobokko's goalkeeper Luke Oyen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brent Bastin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Luke Oyen made a huge save. Jamie Van den Berchen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Luke Oyen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamie Van den Berchen in the 18th minute of play forced Sporting Okkobokko's goalkeeper Luke Oyen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jamie Van den Berchen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Luke Oyen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Brent Bastin came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Kortesem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brent Bastin couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, Kortesem's Luke Oyen threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Timmy Van Houtvin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sporting Okkobokko's Luke Oyen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Okkobokko from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Jamie Van den Berchen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kortesem's supporters rose to their feet, but Jamie Van den Berchen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luke Oyen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jamie Van den Berchen was extremely unlucky when he, in the 43rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Jamie Van den Berchen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jamie Van den Berchen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Sporting Okkobokko defense, Christopher Ablij kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luke Oyen. The Sporting Okkobokko fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luke Oyen should have stopped the shot. Jamie Van den Berchen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Luke Oyen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Guust De Keuster made a precise shot to the right of Luke Oyen. Sporting Okkobokko's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Sporting Okkobokko's Luke Oyen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brent Bastin in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to Sporting Okkobokko getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Luc Van Meel hit a great ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Brent Bastin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kortesem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brent Bastin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Christopher Ablij notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Sporting Okkobokko's Luke Oyen. Luke Oyen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luke Oyen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brent Bastin, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. When Jamie Van den Berchen came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Kortesem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jamie Van den Berchen couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Okkobokko's goalkeeper Luke Oyen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brent Bastin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86thth minute of the game Jamie Van den Berchen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Okkobokko's Luke Oyen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luke Oyen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jamie Van den Berchen in the 88th minute of the match. When Jamie Van den Berchen fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kortesem's protests and gave Jamie Van den Berchen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, Jamie Van den Berchen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luke Oyen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Maseur in the 94th minute of the match. Kortesem's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
