Brent Bastin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charl Weijnandts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brent Bastin in the 10th minute of play. Florian Terhorst hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, Brent Bastin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kortesem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Jamie Van den Berchen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charl Weijnandts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guust De Keuster in the 20th minute of play. Mateo Peters blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Niels Engelboorgs having to make a save. Niels Engelboorgs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Peters in the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Guust De Keuster notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of La Furia Roja's Charl Weijnandts. Charl Weijnandts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Charl Weijnandts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jamie Van den Berchen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jamie Van den Berchen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 40 minutes, Jamie Van den Berchen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kortesem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jamie Van den Berchen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Sylvan Van Hoght fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kortesem's protests and gave Sylvan Van Hoght a yellow card for diving instead. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kortesem! When the match had been going on for 43 minutes, La Furia Roja's Kenn Raes got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Niels Engelboorgs. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Jamie Van den Berchen made the kick off in the second half. If Jamie Van den Berchen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Kortesem booed when La Furia Roja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tran Haentjens didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Christopher Ablij managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kortesem's supporters rose to their feet, but Christopher Ablij was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charl Weijnandts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Charl Weijnandts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamie Van den Berchen, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Brent Bastin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 58th playminute. In the 64th minute Jamie Van den Berchen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charl Weijnandts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, La Furia Roja's goalkeeper Charl Weijnandts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brent Bastin. In the 66th minute, Willem-Alexander Kersselaers reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Charl Weijnandts. The goal made the score 1-4. Brent Bastin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. La Furia Roja's Charl Weijnandts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guust De Keuster in the 74th minute of play. If Albertus Helsens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paul Maseur hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Jamie Van den Berchen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kortesem's supporters rose to their feet, but Jamie Van den Berchen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charl Weijnandts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Brent Bastin could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Charl Weijnandts however easily saved by the left post. Christopher Ablij sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Tran Haentjens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jamie Van den Berchen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charl Weijnandts having to interfere. Charl Weijnandts made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Brent Bastin sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over Kortesem could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than La Furia Roja throughout the match.
