After some careless play in the KSV Grandmenil defense, Ive Poels kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nickolas Demeyer. The KSV Grandmenil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nickolas Demeyer should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Breestraeten's Alphonse Tijs got a free kick in the 13th minute. Breestraeten's Jeremie Geijselinckx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Verbruggen in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute of the match Alain Blocks sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeremie Geijselinckx skillfully saved the ball. Jeremie Geijselinckx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Suetens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jilian Rouckeloos charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jilian Rouckeloos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vicente Suetens to make the kick off. Constant Rogiers hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute of the match Breestraeten got a corner. KSV Grandmenil's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sebastian Van Hautvin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Breestraeten's Dany-Adams Salms to a score. 3-0 in the 55th minute. When Paul-Louis Ingelborgh came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Breestraeten fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul-Louis Ingelborgh couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Paul-Louis Ingelborgh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Breestraeten's supporters rose to their feet, but Paul-Louis Ingelborgh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nickolas Demeyer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute Vicente Suetens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremie Geijselinckx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Breestraeten's Jeremie Geijselinckx got control of the ball when Mattias Verbruggen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mattias Verbruggen in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Breestraeten's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
