Ive Poels came free with the goalkeeper in the 7th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Robbie Vergau could save by the left post. Jeremie Geijselinckx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stein Van Aerschodt in the 12th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Relst's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Paul-Louis Ingelborgh fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Harald Hemeleers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremie Geijselinckx having to interfere. Stein Van Aerschodt took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeremie Geijselinckx. Jeremie Geijselinckx dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Paul-Louis Ingelborgh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbie Vergau having to interfere. Ive Poels struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Robbie Vergau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Breestraeten. Paul-Louis Ingelborgh received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Robbie Vergau came out and tried to block the shot, but Paul-Louis Ingelborgh slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 29th minute. Ive Poels's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Robbie Vergau skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Paul-Louis Ingelborgh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robbie Vergau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul-Louis Ingelborgh in the 39th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Dominick Van Goolen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Relst were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of Relst booed when Breestraeten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dany-Adams Salms didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harald Hemeleers in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jeremie Geijselinckx, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 54 minutes, Paul-Louis Ingelborgh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Breestraeten's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paul-Louis Ingelborgh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul-Louis Ingelborgh in the 60th minute of play forced Relst's goalkeeper Robbie Vergau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Maurice Van Huyck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harald Hemeleers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremie Geijselinckx having to interfere. Breestraeten's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sebastian Van Hautvin in the 79th minute. A well done corner resulted in Dany-Adams Salms drilling the ball in to score 2-2 behind Relst's goalkeeper. If Paul-Louis Ingelborgh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robbie Vergau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ive Poels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 92 minutes of play, Relst's Harald Hemeleers made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeremie Geijselinckx was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Breestraeten supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Relst's performance. The match ended with a win for Relst.
