The shot was a little too simple and Jeremey Van Bouschot could save by the left post. 8 minutes into the match, AS Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Moons came free, but Rafael Van Lancker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, AS Roma's Isaac De Fauw dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After having played for 18 minutes, Isaac De Fauw managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AS Roma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaac De Fauw was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Etienne De Mey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 21 minutes into the game, Garry Paaps was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Arisdonck's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AS Roma the free kick. In the 21st minute, Garry Paaps hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gilliam Wigers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isaac De Fauw received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jeremey Van Bouschot came out and tried to block the shot, but Isaac De Fauw slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 26th minute. In the 33rd minute, Fredrik Engelborghs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 37 minutes, Gilliam Wigers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AS Roma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilliam Wigers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeremey Van Bouschot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac De Fauw, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. FC Arisdonck's Jeremey Van Bouschot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac De Fauw in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaac De Fauw stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Willem-Alexander Iwens during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 53 played minutes AS Roma got a freekick which was hit by Willem-Alexander Iwens. Fredrik Engelborghs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Van Lancker having to interfere. Anton Snieders hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the match, FC Arisdonck's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac De Fauw came free, but Jeremey Van Bouschot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute Isaac De Fauw shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremey Van Bouschot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garry Paaps kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Cederic Van Hespen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jeremey Van Bouschot. FC Arisdonck's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 69th match minute, FC Arisdonck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter-Jan Declercq to maneuver through the defense. If Isaac De Fauw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, FC Arisdonck's Rafael Van Lancker threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Oliver Moons, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of FC Arisdonck booed when AS Roma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac De Fauw didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peter-Jan Declercq during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Arisdonck getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Peter-Jan Declercq hit a great ball. Jeremey Van Bouschot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilliam Wigers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Gilliam Wigers managed to get in a good position for a shot. AS Roma's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilliam Wigers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremey Van Bouschot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gilliam Wigers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that AS Roma were the better team. AS Roma's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
