Robby Descamps came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by KVSK Ursel's Benne Van Damme. But to his dismay, Benne Van Damme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Antonio Debock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Antonio Debock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonio Debock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Robby Descamps tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robby Descamps made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benne Van Damme in the 31st minute of play. If Benne Van Damme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Debock in the 34th minute of play forced KSV Varenwinkel's goalkeeper Robby Descamps to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, KSV Varenwinkel's Matt Vischkens got a free kick in the 35th minute. Robby Descamps made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benne Van Damme in the 36th minute of play. Benne Van Damme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Robby Descamps tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Benne Van Damme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KVSK Ursel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in KVSK Ursel's zone, Tommas de Reyck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viktor Verhaert came out of the goal and Tommas de Reyck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 48th minute, Jimmy Van der Veeken left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KSV Varenwinkel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The KSV Varenwinkel players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KVSK Ursel were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benne Van Damme was the one to do the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Benne Van Damme got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Viktor Verhaert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommas de Reyck in the 58th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Antonio Debock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viktor Verhaert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy Van der Veeken, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. With his leg Robby Descamps managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when KVSK Ursel's Benne Van Damme fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Robby Descamps stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benne Van Damme's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. KSV Varenwinkel's Robby Descamps played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benne Van Damme in the 74th minute of play. The supporters of KVSK Ursel booed when KSV Varenwinkel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin Wijngaerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Debock who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Robby Descamps when he managed to save the team from getting behind. KSV Varenwinkel's Robby Descamps proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save KSV Varenwinkel from getting a goal against them. In the 79th minute, Max De Keijsere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Antonio Debock got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st match minute, KSV Varenwinkel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max De Keijsere to maneuver through the defense. Benne Van Damme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Regis Van Der Elst took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Robby Descamps. KSV Varenwinkel's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Benne Van Damme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Robby Descamps tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robby Descamps was a little too slow when Benne Van Damme got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 1-3. Antonio Debock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Robby Descamps tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. KSV Varenwinkel's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Benne Van Damme scored to the left of an out of position Robby Descamps, making the score, 1-4. KVSK Ursel's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
