KVSK Ursel's Benne Van Damme got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 13 minutes into the match, Franse Kunstenaars's goalkeeper Dan De Bougne had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonio Debock. Jan-Simon Vrijdags received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Viktor Verhaert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Simon Vrijdags's late challenge caught a KVSK Ursel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan-Simon Vrijdags helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Jan-Simon Vrijdags hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franse Kunstenaars's Dan De Bougne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benne Van Damme in the 31st minute of play. After 33 minutes of play, KVSK Ursel's Antonio Debock made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dan De Bougne was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Marco Neels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Antonio Debock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan De Bougne having to interfere. Viktor Verhaert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan-Simon Vrijdags in the 54th minute. After some careless play in the Franse Kunstenaars defense, Benne Van Damme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dan De Bougne. The Franse Kunstenaars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dan De Bougne should have stopped the shot. In the 59th match minute, Franse Kunstenaars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willem Van Heerle to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th match minute, Franse Kunstenaars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabien Verbraecken to maneuver through the defense. Antonio Debock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benne Van Damme in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dan De Bougne saved Franse Kunstenaars from getting behind. Franse Kunstenaars's Dan De Bougne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Debock in the 72nd minute of play. Antonio Debock struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Dan De Bougne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KVSK Ursel. If Antonio Debock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of Franse Kunstenaars:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of KVSK Ursel:s goal. In the 81st minute there was a penalty for KVSK Ursel. Siebe Biermans stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dan De Bougne. 4-0. In the 84thth minute of the game Benne Van Damme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Franse Kunstenaars's Dan De Bougne was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yvan Leyman kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After 96 minutes of play, KVSK Ursel's Benne Van Damme made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dan De Bougne was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. KVSK Ursel had played much better football throughout.
