The referee ignored Hulshout's protests and gave Jeremie Denturck a yellow card for diving instead. Gustave Van Den Poel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 46th match minute, Hulshout was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurence Omblets to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernest De Custer to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Hulshout getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. In the 56th match minute, Abrikoos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thibau Verheijt to maneuver through the defense. Gustave Van Den Poel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernest De Custer's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Abrikoos's Thibau Verheijt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustave Van Den Poel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. With an all-out effort, Abrikoos's Gustave Van Den Poel threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ernest De Custer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dimitry Vervaeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Gustave Van Den Poel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thibau Verheijt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustave Van Den Poel having to interfere. Arnaud Van Espen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnaud Van Espen in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gwenn De Maret prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 94th minute, Youri Oelaerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
