Spectators: 7542 (Terracing: 5696, Seating: 1746, VIP seats: 100) Kasper Dewolf started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Kasper Dewolf came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Franse Kunstenaars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kasper Dewolf couldn't finish the play. Dan De Bougne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hubert Gheysen in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Franse Kunstenaars's goal looked a bit too open when Franky Conincx came free, but Dan De Bougne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Willem Gressens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Willem Gressens came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Schoonbroek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Willem Gressens couldn't finish the play. Dan De Bougne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hubert Gheysen in the 23rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Willem Gressens during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Willem Gressens hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 25 played minutes Schoonbroek got a freekick which was hit by Isidoor Van Dessen. After having played for 26 minutes, Bass Van Eeckhout managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Franse Kunstenaars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bass Van Eeckhout was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Schoonbroek's Hubert Gheysen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dan De Bougne made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 34th minute Hubert Gheysen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan De Bougne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 minutes of play, Schoonbroek's Hubert Gheysen made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dan De Bougne was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dan De Bougne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franky Conincx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubert Gheysen in the 46th minute of play forced Franse Kunstenaars's goalkeeper Dan De Bougne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Schoonbroek were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hubert Gheysen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Dan De Bougne successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 55th match minute, Franse Kunstenaars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christof Van Den Driessche to maneuver through the defense. Hubert Gheysen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan De Bougne having to interfere. Franky Conincx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hubert Gheysen in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dan De Bougne prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hubert Gheysen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hubert Gheysen in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dan De Bougne saved Franse Kunstenaars from getting behind. Jeremy Fraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kasper Dewolf in the 67th minute of play. Jan-Simon Vrijdags sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Franse Kunstenaars's zone, Franky Conincx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan De Bougne came out of the goal and Franky Conincx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 75 in the game by Franky Conincx from a close distance when the talented Dan De Bougne managed to make a qualified save. Franse Kunstenaars's players were relieved. Franky Conincxs short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Dan De Bougne to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 81stth minute of the game Hubert Gheysen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Franse Kunstenaars's Dan De Bougne was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Schoonbroek's Franky Conincx sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dan De Bougne narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hubert Gheysen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan De Bougne having to interfere. Hubert Gheysen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 100thth minute of the game Kasper Dewolf who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Schoonbroek's Jeremy Fraes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle sounded Schoonbroek left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Franse Kunstenaars.
