Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Oliver Caers made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the game, Henk Buelens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Robby Descamps was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Robin Wijngaerts charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robin Wijngaerts the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 12 played minutes KSV Varenwinkel got a freekick which was hit by Robin Wijngaerts. Simon Van Calster, 13 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. KSV Varenwinkel's Robby Descamps played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claus Van Acker in the 15th minute of play. During the 15th minute of the match Robin Wijngaerts completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Robin Wijngaerts a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Robby Descamps came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by SK Oteppe's Claus Van Acker. But to his dismay, Claus Van Acker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When Kristen Frans fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KSV Varenwinkel's protests and gave Kristen Frans a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, KSV Varenwinkel's Kristen Frans got a free kick in the 20th minute. After having played for 21 minutes, Henk Buelens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Oteppe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henk Buelens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robby Descamps was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Claus Van Acker showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 22 minute of play. Tommas de Reyck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Rummens having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henk Buelens got free with Robby Descamps in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SK Oteppe were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after KSV Varenwinkel's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Simon Van Calster took the corner. The corner led SK Oteppe's Simon Van Calster to fire away a dangerous shot which Robby Descamps despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. KSV Varenwinkel's Robby Descamps played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claus Van Acker in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claus Van Acker to strike the kick off in the second half. Robby Descamps showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henk Buelens in the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Claus Van Acker notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of KSV Varenwinkel's Robby Descamps. Robby Descamps was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Robby Descamps showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claus Van Acker in the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Henk Buelens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Robby Descamps was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 67 played minutes KSV Varenwinkel got a freekick which was hit by Matt Vischkens. The audience was convinced that Claus Van Acker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robby Descamps was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Claus Van Acker struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Robby Descamps didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Oteppe. The supporters of KSV Varenwinkel booed when SK Oteppe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tibau Neys didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henk Buelens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 82 minutes, Oliver Caers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KSV Varenwinkel and the SK Oteppe players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SK Oteppe booed when KSV Varenwinkel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver Caers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claus Van Acker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henk Buelens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Robby Descamps tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robby Descamps showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claus Van Acker in the 90th minute of the match. Robby Descamps took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibau Neys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when SK Oteppe's Claus Van Acker fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. SK Oteppe's Tibau Neys got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SK Oteppe's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
