After a rather tough play, Hulshout's Jeremie Denturck got a free kick in the 5th minute. 8 minutes into the match, KVSK Ursel's Benne Van Damme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustave Van Den Poel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Benne Van Damme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonio Debock in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gustave Van Den Poel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Antonio Debock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustave Van Den Poel having to interfere. Antonio Debock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Gustave Van Den Poel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustave Van Den Poel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benne Van Damme in the 29th minute of the match. Arnaud Van Espen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Verhaert having to interfere. Hans Van Linthoud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Viktor Verhaert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Arnaud Van Espen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Viktor Verhaert was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 46 played minutes KVSK Ursel got a freekick which was hit by Regis Van Der Elst. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnaud Van Espen to strike the kick off in the second half. Gustave Van Den Poel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonio Debock's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. 56 minutes into the game, Hans Van Linthoud cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Viktor Verhaert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Benne Van Damme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KVSK Ursel's Antonio Debock got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Debock in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustave Van Den Poel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antonio Debock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. After 70 minutes of play, KVSK Ursel's Antonio Debock made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viktor Verhaert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaud Van Espen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustave Van Den Poel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Debock in the 86th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Hulshout's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Debock came free, but Gustave Van Den Poel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benne Van Damme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustave Van Den Poel having to interfere. When Antonio Debock came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the KVSK Ursel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Debock couldn't finish the play. Arnaud Van Espen might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Viktor Verhaert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnaud Van Espen ran back to his position shaking his head.
