Spectators: 6732 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 0) KSV Varenwinkel's Oliver Caers started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kristen Frans kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After 5 minutes of play, Franse Kunstenaars's Jan-Simon Vrijdags made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robby Descamps was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan-Simon Vrijdags in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robby Descamps prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 11 played minutes Franse Kunstenaars got a freekick which was hit by Christof Van Den Driessche. Dan De Bougne made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tommas de Reyck in the 15th minute. After 16 played minutes, KSV Varenwinkel's Kristen Frans shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dan De Bougne came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KSV Varenwinkel reached it. Robby Descamps took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Simon Vrijdags, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommas de Reyck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 26 played minutes KSV Varenwinkel got a freekick which was hit by Kristen Frans. KSV Varenwinkel's Robby Descamps played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Simon Vrijdags in the 31st minute of play. After the first half Franse Kunstenaars were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

KSV Varenwinkel's Robby Descamps played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kasper Dewolf in the 52nd minute of play. Jan-Simon Vrijdagss short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Robby Descamps to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Jan-Simon Vrijdags had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliver Caers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan De Bougne having to interfere. Willem Van Heerle hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Oliver Caers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, one of Franse Kunstenaars:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Franse Kunstenaars. A collision led to Franse Kunstenaars getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Octave Van Cleijnenbruegel hit a great ball. After 85 minutes of play, KSV Varenwinkel's Tommas de Reyck made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dan De Bougne was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 89th minute, Bass Van Eeckhout hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dan De Bougne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommas de Reyck in the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The KSV Varenwinkel fans cheered their team off the field, for while Franse Kunstenaars had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
