FC Gundekose's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charly De Weyngaert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Gundekose's Ludo De Jaeger got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Dante Oelaerts had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jannis Van Eyke. KFC Hingeon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dante Oelaerts was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jannis Van Eyke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo Puttemas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KFC Hingeon's Jannis Van Eyke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Knockaert in the 27th minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Gundekose defense, Oswald Humblets kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robbrecht Coosemans. The FC Gundekose fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robbrecht Coosemans should have stopped the shot. After some careless play in the KFC Hingeon defense, Jeremy Coveliers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jannis Van Eyke. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ludo De Jaeger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jannis Van Eyke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludo De Jaeger in the 65th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, FC Gundekose's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Van der Veeken came free, but Robbrecht Coosemans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 minutes, Jeremy Coveliers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Gundekose and the KFC Hingeon players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 70 played minutes FC Gundekose got a freekick which was hit by Jeremy Coveliers. Robbrecht Coosemans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Mampaerts in the 71st minute of play. If Oswald Humblets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Mampaerts scored 4-2 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robbrecht Coosemans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
