Spectators: 6691 (Terracing: 5691, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Thobias Van Achtens got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Nakama Pro Soccerclub's goal looked a bit too open when Thobias Van Achtens came free, but Rein Van Hoovelt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Nakama Pro Soccerclub's Jammy De Raemaekers got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute, Bram Smolders got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 9th minute Thobias Van Achtens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rein Van Hoovelt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piet Verdeyen struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Kobe Switten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nakama Pro Soccerclub. The audience thought a goal was coming when Piet Verdeyen got free with Kobe Switten in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bram Smolders recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Thobias Van Achtens came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Borgerhout fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thobias Van Achtens couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute, Bram Smolders made a precise shot to the right of Rein Van Hoovelt. Nakama Pro Soccerclub's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Rein Van Hoovelt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thobias Van Achtens in the 25th minute of the match. After having played for 26 minutes, Bram Smolders managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borgerhout's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bram Smolders was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th minute, Nakama Pro Soccerclub's Giovanni Ravoet seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Giovanni Ravoet the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Nakama Pro Soccerclub protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Giovanni Ravoet had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Bram Smolders struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Rein Van Hoovelt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borgerhout. Rein Van Hoovelt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thobias Van Achtens's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Thobias Van Achtens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Rein Van Hoovelt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rein Van Hoovelt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thobias Van Achtens in the 44th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bram Smolders in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rein Van Hoovelt saved Nakama Pro Soccerclub from getting behind. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Piet Verdeyen to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Nakama Pro Soccerclub's Jacques Dauwe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kobe Switten narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nakama Pro Soccerclub fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! In the 62nd minute, Thobias Van Achtens reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rein Van Hoovelt. The goal made the score 0-3. If Thobias Van Achtens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Janes Van Hespe fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borgerhout's protests and gave Janes Van Hespe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st minute, Janes Van Hespe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jammy De Raemaekers's late challenge caught a Borgerhout's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jammy De Raemaekers helped the player get up and apologised. Borgerhout's Robben Vrijdag shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 84th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rein Van Hoovelt but with some difficulty. 86 minutes into the match, Nakama Pro Soccerclub's goalkeeper Rein Van Hoovelt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bram Smolders. Jammy De Raemaekers hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, Jammy De Raemaekers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thobias Van Achtens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute.
