Yoachim De Bougne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Mampaerts in the 38th minute of the match. After 38 minutes, Tran De Meijer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Footy Smile Club and the KFC Hingeon players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of KFC Hingeon booed when Footy Smile Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tran De Meijer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Footy Smile Club's Ronny Van Beylen got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 90th minute, KFC Hingeon's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Steffen Meulemans fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Steffen Meulemans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Jannis Van Eyke made a huge save. Wayne Mesmakers kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Jannis Van Eyke acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 100th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ronny Van Beylen. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. KFC Hingeon were victorious despite being under pressure from Footy Smile Club for much of the match.
