Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Selleslags in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robbrecht Coosemans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Robbrecht Coosemans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave Sterckx in the 17th minute of the match. Robbrecht Coosemans came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Havay's Dave Sterckx. But to his dismay, Dave Sterckx quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Selleslags in the 26th minute of play forced FC Gundekose's goalkeeper Robbrecht Coosemans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paul Sterckmans took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Robbrecht Coosemans. FC Gundekose's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. FC Gundekose's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Charly De Weyngaert in the 33rd minute. Abraham Knockaert made a great header on FC Gundekose's corner, it was just that Havay's Jos de Pelsmaker managed to reach the ball for a save. Havay's Jos de Pelsmaker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Havay from getting a goal against them. Charly De Weyngaert hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Ludo De Jaeger made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Jeremy Coveliers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jos de Pelsmaker. Havay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeremy Coveliers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. FC Gundekose's Robbrecht Coosemans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save FC Gundekose from getting a goal against them. Dave Sterckx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbrecht Coosemans having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Selleslags in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robbrecht Coosemans saved FC Gundekose from getting behind. After a rather tough play, FC Gundekose's Stephen Van Gijsel got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Jos de Pelsmaker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludo De Jaeger in the 80th minute of the match. Albertus Dams fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbrecht Coosemans having to interfere. Jeremy Coveliers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jos de Pelsmaker having to interfere. Ludo De Jaeger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jos de Pelsmaker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Havay's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
