Spectators: 7514 (Terracing: 5636, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Stephan Van Der Meren hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After 6 minutes, Etienne Van Hespen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Izmirspor and the Team invaSion players grew even worse after the yellow card. Izmirspor's Carel van Hagenborgh got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rudi Schepmans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Bastian Huyghens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, Team invaSion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Van Hemel to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute of the match, Rudi Schepmans tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bastian Huyghens saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Charles-Antoine Algoedt kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Carel van Hagenborgh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Izmirspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Carel van Hagenborgh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olivier Hoeybroeck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Team invaSion's Charles-Antoine Algoedt got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bastian Huyghens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudi Schepmans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl Van Hemel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bastian Huyghens firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Carel van Hagenborgh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carel van Hagenborgh to make the kick off. If Karl Van Hemel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeff Brabant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Karl Van Hemel came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Team invaSion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl Van Hemel couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Team invaSion's goalkeeper Olivier Hoeybroeck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 63 minutes, Karl Van Hemel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Team invaSion and the Izmirspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Karl Van Hemel kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Kasper Wortelaert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Olivier Hoeybroeck made a huge save. After 66 played minutes Team invaSion got a freekick which was hit by Jeff Brabant. Izmirspor were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Team invaSion's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jens De Baere took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Jens De Baere got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Olivier Hoeybroeck quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 72nd minute Karl Van Hemel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bastian Huyghens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bastian Huyghens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudi Schepmans in the 74th minute of play. Izmirspor's Bastian Huyghens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudi Schepmans in the 78th minute of play. Etienne Van Hespen got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Kasper Wortelaert got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 84th minute, Kasper Wortelaert left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Izmirspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Bastian Huyghens came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Team invaSion's Karl Van Hemel. But to his dismay, Karl Van Hemel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
