Spectators: 7579 (Terracing: 5685, Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mark Delcomte kicked off to start the match. If Mark Delcomte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvain Struijf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jozef Schrevens having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Virelles's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mark Delcomte fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Mark Delcomte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Geert-Jan De Keijsere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mark Delcomte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Jozef Schrevens made a huge save. Jacobus Decaluwe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mark Delcomte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reemy Tobbackers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Willem-Alexander Engels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mark Delcomte in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jozef Schrevens, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reemy Tobbackers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Arend Van Meerbeek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Delcomte in the 60th minute of play forced Virelles's goalkeeper Jozef Schrevens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Willem-Alexander Engels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacque Raedemaeckers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacque Raedemaeckers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The goalkeeper, Willem-Alexander Engels, was totally fooled by Virelles's Anton Enskens, who 86 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Jacobus Decaluwe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jozef Schrevens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Virelles's goal looked a bit too open when Silvain Struijf came free, but Jozef Schrevens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jacobus Decaluwe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jozef Schrevens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henk Weijnandts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chants of Virelles echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Onlivada United had held the ball for most of the match.
