Spectators: 7511 (Terracing: 5634, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kristof Stuckens kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the game, FC Duck United's Niel Van Steen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvain Kersselaers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 12th minute Kristof Stuckens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommi Cuveliers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Struijf in the 16th minute of play forced VC Erquennes's goalkeeper Silvain Kersselaers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramon Struijf's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvain Kersselaers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in VC Erquennes's zone, Niel Van Steen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvain Kersselaers came out of the goal and Niel Van Steen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 24 played minutes FC Duck United got a freekick which was hit by Gilliam Demeyer. The crowd rose to their feet as Ramon Struijf kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Silvain Kersselaers. That made the score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. Silvain Kersselaers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Struijf in the 30th minute of play. If Kristof Stuckens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC Duck United getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Emmanuel De Mol hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Perry Kindt in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommi Cuveliers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramon Struijf made a kick off. In the 53rd minute there was a penalty for FC Duck United. Mathieux Himschoot stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Silvain Kersselaers. 3-0. Regis Reijers's late challenge caught a FC Duck United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Regis Reijers helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, VC Erquennes's Regis Reijers got a free kick in the 58th minute. Perry Kindt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommi Cuveliers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th match minute, FC Duck United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Callens to maneuver through the defense. Tommi Cuveliers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kristof Stuckens's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Tommi Cuveliers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristof Stuckens in the 73rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Niel Van Steen managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Duck United's supporters rose to their feet, but Niel Van Steen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvain Kersselaers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of FC Duck United booed when VC Erquennes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loui Lenaerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Niel Van Steen made a precise shot to the right of Silvain Kersselaers. VC Erquennes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Silvain Kersselaers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niel Van Steen, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Niel Van Steen charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niel Van Steen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. FC Duck United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of VC Erquennes for a fine match.
