If Dominick Engelborghs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Tommi Cuveliers managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Xhawirs's Dominick Engelborghs fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 10th minute, Niel Van Steen made a precise shot to the right of Jose Cooreman. Xhawirs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Jeremie De Hooge kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Tommi Cuveliers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominick Engelborghs in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Duck United's zone, Filip De Cerpel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommi Cuveliers came out of the goal and Filip De Cerpel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 22 played minutes Xhawirs got a freekick which was hit by Levi Gijselinkx. Jose Cooreman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathieux Himschoot in the 23rd minute of play. Filip De Cerpel kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Jose Cooreman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Struijf, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 25 minutes, Filip De Cerpel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Xhawirs and the FC Duck United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Filip De Cerpel kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Jose Cooreman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Struijf in the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Xhawirs were awarded a corner. Jorden Van den Driesch went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Jorden Van den Driesch almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Duck United's Tommi Cuveliers did a great save. Tommi Cuveliers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominick Engelborghs in the 36th minute of the match. If Marc Leenknecht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dominick Engelborghs received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommi Cuveliers came out and tried to block the shot, but Dominick Engelborghs slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 38th minute. In the 43rd minute Ramon Struijf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Cooreman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dominick Engelborghs who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Tommi Cuveliers when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Filip De Cerpel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ramon Struijf made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FC Duck United's Ramon Struijf got a free kick in the 51st minute. Niel Van Steen kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dominick Engelborghs in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommi Cuveliers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, FC Duck United's Jeremie De Hooge got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute Marc Leenknecht shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommi Cuveliers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Jose Cooreman managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when FC Duck United's Niel Van Steen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jose Cooreman made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Niel Van Steen sent off a good shot on target. Dominick Engelborghs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommi Cuveliers having to interfere. In the 81st minute Niel Van Steen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Cooreman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Niel Van Steen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommi Cuveliers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominick Engelborghs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacob Uyterhelcht received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Tommi Cuveliers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute Ramon Struijf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Cooreman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Xhawirs had played much better football throughout.
