The audience was convinced that Rajmond Huijbrechts's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franck Mortier was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. After 22 played minutes Bertrix got a freekick which was hit by Jelle Gijsbrechts. Bruno Rutgeerts who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Franck Mortier when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nico Van den Ende in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ignace Berchmans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nico Van den Ende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nico Van den Ende couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Nico Van den Ende came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Bertrix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nico Van den Ende couldn't finish the play. Nico Van den Ende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignace Berchmans having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Awesome Ville got a freekick which was hit by Christofere Verheijden. 75 minutes into the game, Miguel Rondas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ignace Berchmans. Miguel Rondas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Rajmond Huijbrechts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franck Mortier having to interfere. In the 84thth minute of the game Rajmond Huijbrechts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bertrix's Franck Mortier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 88 played minutes Bertrix got a freekick which was hit by Jelle Gijsbrechts. The Bertrix players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Awesome Ville from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
