Spectators: 7538 (Terracing: 5655, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rajmond Huijbrechts got the match started through his kick off. Ignace Berchmans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramon Struijf's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the game, Jeremie De Hooge was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Duck United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Awesome Ville the free kick. 8 minutes into the match, Awesome Ville's goalkeeper Ignace Berchmans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niel Van Steen. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Ramon Struijf managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Duck United's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramon Struijf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ignace Berchmans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruno Rutgeerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Tommi Cuveliers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rajmond Huijbrechts took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommi Cuveliers. Tommi Cuveliers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Ramon Struijf fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Duck United's protests and gave Ramon Struijf a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, Ramon Struijf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rdth minute of the game Bruno Rutgeerts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Duck United's Tommi Cuveliers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bruno Rutgeerts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rajmond Huijbrechts struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Tommi Cuveliers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Awesome Ville. 43 minutes into the match, Bruno Rutgeerts had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommi Cuveliers. FC Duck United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno Rutgeerts was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 51st minute, Niel Van Steen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Duck United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The long shot by Christofere Verheijden in the 55th minute really tested Tommi Cuveliers's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Niel Van Steen struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Ignace Berchmans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Duck United. 75 minutes into the match, Niel Van Steen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ignace Berchmans. Awesome Ville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niel Van Steen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After 78 minutes, Bill Ballette mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Duck United and the Awesome Ville players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Duck United getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Bill Ballette hit a great ball. In the 79th minute of the match Ignace Van Linthaut shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommi Cuveliers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ignace Berchmans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niel Van Steen in the 82nd minute of the match. Ramon Struijf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignace Berchmans having to interfere. Ramon Struijf's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ignace Berchmans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The FC Duck United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Awesome Ville's performance. The match ended with a win for Awesome Ville.
