Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5250, Seating: 1610, VIP seats: 140) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dominick Engelborghs kicked off to start the match. Dominick Engelborghs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvain Kersselaers having to interfere. Silvain Kersselaers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dominick Engelborghs's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute of the match Thobias Clijsters sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jose Cooreman skillfully saved the ball. Gustav Wynaerts blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvain Kersselaers having to make a save. In the 17th minute Kristof Stuckens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Cooreman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, VC Erquennes's goalkeeper Silvain Kersselaers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dominick Engelborghs. Xhawirs's Dominick Engelborghs got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dominick Engelborghss short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Silvain Kersselaers to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Regis Reijers kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Silvain Kersselaers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominick Engelborghs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the game, Kristof Stuckens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jose Cooreman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kristof Stuckens to strike the kick off in the second half. Dominick Engelborghs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvain Kersselaers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominick Engelborghs, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Filip De Cerpel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Filip De Cerpel made a precise shot to the right of Silvain Kersselaers. VC Erquennes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. VC Erquennes's Silvain Kersselaers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominick Engelborghs in the 70th minute of play. In the 85th match minute, Xhawirs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip De Cerpel to maneuver through the defense. Loui Lenaerts charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Loui Lenaerts the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Loui Lenaerts hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Dominick Engelborghs sped through VC Erquennes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silvain Kersselaers. After a rather tough play, VC Erquennes's Dieter De Worteler got a free kick in the 96th minute. When Jorden Van den Driesch came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Xhawirs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorden Van den Driesch couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle went the supporters of VC Erquennes were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Xhawirs side.
