Spectators: 7555 (Terracing: 5668, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 150) Rajmond Huijbrechts started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 4 minutes, Christofere Verheijden mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Awesome Ville and the Xhawirs players grew even worse after the yellow card. Christofere Verheijden kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustav Wynaerts in the 8th minute of play forced Awesome Ville's goalkeeper Ignace Berchmans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Debruyn's late challenge caught a Xhawirs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Debruyn helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Xhawirs booed when Awesome Ville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Debruyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Xhawirs fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Xhawirs's Dominick Engelborghs looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Xhawirs's Dominick Engelborghs got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the game, Filip De Cerpel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ignace Berchmans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 24th minute of the match Jacob Uyterhelcht sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ignace Berchmans skillfully saved the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Dominick Engelborghs notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Awesome Ville's Ignace Berchmans. Ignace Berchmans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gustav Wynaerts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dominick Engelborghs in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ignace Berchmans saved Awesome Ville from getting behind. Rajmond Huijbrechts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Jose Cooreman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute Gustav Wynaerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignace Berchmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manu Reyniers's late challenge caught a Xhawirs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manu Reyniers helped the player get up and apologised. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Awesome Ville! In the 39th minute there was a penalty for Xhawirs. Jorden Van den Driesch stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ignace Berchmans. 0-4. Gustav Wynaerts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Dominick Engelborghs made the kick off in the second half. Ignace Berchmans was a little too slow when Gustav Wynaerts got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-5. If Dominick Engelborghs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filip De Cerpel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dominick Engelborghs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignace Berchmans having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Rajmond Huijbrechts notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Xhawirs's Jose Cooreman. Jose Cooreman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Dominick Engelborghs took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Ignace Berchmans to make any attempt to save it. With his leg Ignace Berchmans managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Xhawirs's Dominick Engelborghs fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 75 minutes, Filip De Cerpel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xhawirs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filip De Cerpel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dominick Engelborghss short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Ignace Berchmans to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dominick Engelborghs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Filip De Cerpel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ignace Berchmans. Awesome Ville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filip De Cerpel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. After a rather tough play, Awesome Ville's Thomas-Jan Van Malcot got a free kick in the 97th minute. When the match was over Xhawirs could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Awesome Ville throughout the match.
