But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matias Theuniers couldn't finish the play. Antonio Fossaert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Theuniers in the 49th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yoachim Maenhout stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zeldonkhoek's Gabriel Hemelsoet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yoachim Maenhout in the 53rd minute of play. Jannis De Brouwer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Antonio Fossaert made a huge save. Zeldonkhoek's Gabriel Hemelsoet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matteo Sielis in the 94th minute of play. KSV Ramsdonk's Matteo Sielis got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
