Mickael De Witte's late challenge caught a Wolvendaal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mickael De Witte helped the player get up and apologised. If Antoine Stoffels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Club Terheidehoek were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Greg Lijsens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Antoine Stoffels came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Club Terheidehoek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antoine Stoffels couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the match, Club Terheidehoek's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Louis Valckeners came free, but Jeffery Swiggers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Kent Wouqier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Emanuel Van Hinnendaels fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Terheidehoek's protests and gave Emanuel Van Hinnendaels a yellow card for diving instead. After 59 played minutes Club Terheidehoek got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Van Hinnendaels. After a rather tough play, Club Terheidehoek's Sean Beets got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 66 minutes into the game, Greg Lijsens recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jasper Beckers. Greg Lijsens showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Jeffery Swiggers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Louis Valckeners, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antoine Stoffels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Greg Lijsens received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jasper Beckers came out and tried to block the shot, but Greg Lijsens slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 92nd minute.
