Spectators: 6731 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 0) bozkirspor's Ruud Ingelborghs started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. SK Sijsele's Ricky Van Langendonckx got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Nic Van Groenderbeek fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored bozkirspor's protests and gave Nic Van Groenderbeek a yellow card for diving instead. SK Sijsele's Mats Cools played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruud Ingelborghs in the 7th minute of play. Tommy Van den Hoff came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by SK Sijsele's Xavier den Ronden. But to his dismay, Xavier den Ronden quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Xavier den Ronden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Tommy Van den Hoff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Van den Hoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicky Hemelaer in the 13th minute of the match. Nicky Hemelaer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Van den Hoff read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Nicky Hemelaer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Van den Hoff having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Ruud Ingelborghs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricky Van Langendonckx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Tommy Van den Hoff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franky De Wortelaers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Mats Cools made a huge save. Nicky Hemelaer struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Tommy Van den Hoff didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Sijsele. Qwinten Davus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Van den Hoff having to interfere. In the 40th minute Nicky Hemelaer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Van den Hoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Xavier den Ronden came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the SK Sijsele fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xavier den Ronden couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicky Hemelaer made a kick off. When SK Sijsele's Qwinten Davus in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye bozkirspor's goalie prevented a goal. Tommy Van den Hoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicky Hemelaer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 65 in the game by Xavier den Ronden from a close distance when the talented Tommy Van den Hoff managed to make a qualified save. bozkirspor's players were relieved. The supporters of SK Sijsele booed when bozkirspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nic Van Groenderbeek didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 78 minutes, Yanne Massenhove mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the bozkirspor and the SK Sijsele players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 78 played minutes bozkirspor got a freekick which was hit by Yanne Massenhove. bozkirspor's Yanne Massenhove got his second yellow card of the match in the 79th minute. The referee ordered Yanne Massenhove off the ground. Xavier den Ronden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SK Sijsele's Xavier den Ronden got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicky Hemelaer might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Van den Hoff. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicky Hemelaer ran back to his position shaking his head. Tommy Van den Hoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicky Hemelaer in the 90th minute of the match. The SK Sijsele players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
