Brend Engelboorgs might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cedric Van Hoegaerden. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brend Engelboorgs ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martial Audenaert in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cedric Van Hoegaerden saved The Bleu Dream Team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Brend Engelboorgs managed to get in a good position for a shot. KSK Koewacht's supporters rose to their feet, but Brend Engelboorgs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cedric Van Hoegaerden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cedric Van Hoegaerden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martial Audenaert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Xander-Paul Huijsmans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Bleu Dream Team's Matias Leclerq got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waut Maes during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th minute, Waut Maes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jilian Van Huytvenne, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sebbe Vinckx made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Matias Leclerq sent off a good shot on target. Martial Audenaert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, KSK Koewacht's goal looked a bit too open when Xander-Paul Huijsmans came free, but Sebbe Vinckx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Xander-Paul Huijsmans made the kick off in the second half. Waut Maes struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Cedric Van Hoegaerden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KSK Koewacht. In the 54th minute, KSK Koewacht's Martial Audenaert dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Cedric Van Hoegaerden made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Waut Maes sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th minute Matias Leclerq shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebbe Vinckx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 68 minutes, Xander-Paul Huijsmans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Bleu Dream Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xander-Paul Huijsmans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Martial Audenaert might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cedric Van Hoegaerden. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martial Audenaert ran back to his position shaking his head. 87 minutes into the match, The Bleu Dream Team's goal looked a bit too open when Martial Audenaert came free, but Cedric Van Hoegaerden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Kevin Imbrechts fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Bleu Dream Team's protests and gave Kevin Imbrechts a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of The Bleu Dream Team:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of KSK Koewacht:s goal. In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for KSK Koewacht.
