Spectators: 6725 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 0) Rens Van Landeghem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Louckx in the 4th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Yanniek Gramet managed to get in a good position for a shot. RSC Anderlecht's supporters rose to their feet, but Yanniek Gramet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franck Louis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute, Alain Hoes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Staden's Ryan Abrams got a free kick in the 25th minute. Viktor Lievens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rens Van Landeghem having to interfere. Viktor Lievens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rens Van Landeghem read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. RSC Anderlecht's Rens Van Landeghem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Lievens in the 42nd minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viktor Lievens to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lorenz De Meyer in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franck Louis saved Staden from getting behind. In the 57th minute of the match Remi Soens shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Franck Louis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. RSC Anderlecht's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Viktor Lievens 58 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. In the 64th minute Viktor Lievens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rens Van Landeghem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Staden's Nestor Rokeloos shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 82nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rens Van Landeghem but with some difficulty. 82 minutes into the game, Maxim van Bedts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RSC Anderlecht's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Staden the free kick. In the 84th minute Viktor Lievens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rens Van Landeghem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franck Louis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Staden's goalkeeper Franck Louis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Staden's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenz De Meyer came free, but Franck Louis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Staden's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
