Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bert Verduyckt kicked off to start the match. Marco Delcomte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Waud Bossuyt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ben Van Der Talen. Kappa Shift 77's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Marco Delcomte came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Engelbeek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Delcomte couldn't finish the play. Bert Verduyckt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rolf Heers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bert Verduyckt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Delcomte in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ben Van Der Talen saved Kappa Shift 77 from getting behind. Ive Loozen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Louis Van Hallebeeck succeeded in the game's 37th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 41st minute, Kappa Shift 77's Dreas Van der Veeken seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dreas Van der Veeken the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kappa Shift 77 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dreas Van der Veeken had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kappa Shift 77 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! Ben Van Der Talen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Delcomte's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marco Delcomte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kappa Shift 77's goalkeeper Ben Van Der Talen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolf Van der Vloedt in the 59th minute of play forced Kappa Shift 77's goalkeeper Ben Van Der Talen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Delcomte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ive Loozen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Ben Van Der Talen made a huge save. Engelbeek's supporters rose to their feet, but Ive Loozen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ben Van Der Talen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 87 minutes into the match, Kappa Shift 77's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Delcomte came free, but Ben Van Der Talen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 played minutes Engelbeek got a freekick which was hit by Glenn Henrix. Louis Van Hallebeeck hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
