The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Frederik Goris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. Frederik Goris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franck Louis having to interfere. If Viktor Lievens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Franck Louis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederik Goris in the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of Staden booed when The Legendary Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Thys didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Wilfried Roussel came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Staden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfried Roussel couldn't finish the play. In the last second Benny Gyselincx throw himself and got hold of the ball when Viktor Lievens in the 23rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Benny Gyselincx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennart Louckx in the 24th minute of the match. Lennart Louckx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benny Gyselincx having to interfere. After 30 played minutes The Legendary Academy got a freekick which was hit by Jorden De Hertoghe. If Lennart Louckx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Staden booed when The Legendary Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeffrey Vounckx didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 36 minutes of play Staden's Ryan Abrams was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Ryan Abrams kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Alek Van den Berghe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franck Louis having to interfere. Frederik Goris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

If Alek Van den Berghe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lennart Louckx in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benny Gyselincx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Franck Louis made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Alek Van den Berghe sent off a good shot on target. Frederik Goris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Franck Louis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederik Goris, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Alain Hoes charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alain Hoes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Staden getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Alain Hoes hit a great ball. Franck Louis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederik Goris in the 68th minute of play. Lennart Louckx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Benny Gyselincx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, The Legendary Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joos Pardaens to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Lennart Louckx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Lennart Louckx came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Staden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lennart Louckx couldn't finish the play. Lennart Louckx struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Benny Gyselincx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Staden. If Alek Van den Berghe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the game, Jeffrey Vounckx was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Legendary Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Staden the free kick. Jeffrey Vounckx hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Staden defense, Alek Van den Berghe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franck Louis.
