Ben Van Der Talen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evert-Jan Dockx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Louis Van Hallebeeck got free with Theo Van Beringen in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Kappa Shift 77's Bert Verduyckt in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RSC Overdam's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Van Lier during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ben Van Der Talen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Luukas De Boel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Kappa Shift 77's Gilian Rompen got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Ben Van Der Talen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evert-Jan Dockx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd match minute, Kappa Shift 77 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Walder to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evert-Jan Dockx stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Evert-Jan Dockx charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evert-Jan Dockx the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. RSC Overdam's Evert-Jan Dockx got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luukas De Boels short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Ben Van Der Talen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Luukas De Boel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Louis Van Hallebeeck struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Theo Van Beringen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kappa Shift 77. Kappa Shift 77's Louis Van Hallebeeck got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luukas De Boel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ben Van Der Talen having to interfere. A hard shot 84 in the game by Luukas De Boel from a close distance when the talented Ben Van Der Talen managed to make a qualified save. Kappa Shift 77's players were relieved. 89 minutes into the game, Luukas De Boel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ben Van Der Talen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 93 minutes in the game, Luukas De Boel fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ben Van Der Talen having to interfere. Louis Van Hallebeeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Van Beringen having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
