The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Harrie Adriaensens to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kappa Shift 77's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luckas Valckeners was slow to take the kick. During this time KAA Bellegem's players had a chance to rest. Harrie Adriaensens struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Ben Van Der Talen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KAA Bellegem. After 72 minutes of play, KAA Bellegem's Harrie Adriaensens made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ben Van Der Talen was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Sven Boede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Harrie Adriaensens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ben Van Der Talen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
