Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gunther Dobbelaere started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute Gunther Dobbelaere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Simon Vrints saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan-Simon Vrints made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunther Dobbelaere in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Gunther Dobbelaere notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Testopia's Jan-Simon Vrints. Jan-Simon Vrints was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 15th minute, Joris van Hagenborgh ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wayne Huijbrechs was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 20 minutes, Geert Vits made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Testopia's Jan-Simon Vrints tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunther Dobbelaere in the 30th minute of play forced Testopia's goalkeeper Jan-Simon Vrints to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rdth minute of the game Tommi Lanckneus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RSC Verrewinkel's Wayne Huijbrechs was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Geert Vits managed to get in a good position for a shot. RSC Verrewinkel's supporters rose to their feet, but Geert Vits was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Simon Vrints breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geert Vits sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The long shot by Fre Van Caels in the 42nd minute really tested Jan-Simon Vrints's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 45 played minutes RSC Verrewinkel got a freekick which was hit by Geoffry Vandendriessche. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tommi Lanckneus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Testopia's Tommi Lanckneus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wayne Huijbrechs narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 58 minutes into the game, Gunther Dobbelaere cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Jan-Simon Vrints was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Testopia's goalkeeper Jan-Simon Vrints, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 63 played minutes Testopia got a freekick which was hit by Andris Huyghens. Geert Vits took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan-Simon Vrints. Jan-Simon Vrints dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Testopia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of RSC Verrewinkel:s goal. When Stefaan De Hond fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Testopia's protests and gave Stefaan De Hond a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 played minutes Testopia got a freekick which was hit by Stefaan De Hond. RSC Verrewinkel's Fre Van Caels couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 74th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Testopia. Jan-Simon Vrints showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geert Vits in the 76th minute of the match. Jan-Simon Vrints stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geert Vits's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Gunther Dobbelaere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Simon Vrints having to interfere. Gunther Dobbelaere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Jan-Simon Vrints tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 minutes of play, RSC Verrewinkel's Geert Vits made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan-Simon Vrints was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jan-Simon Vrints made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geert Vits in the 92nd minute of play. 98 minutes into the match, RSC Verrewinkel's goal looked a bit too open when Andris Huyghens came free, but Wayne Huijbrechs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The RSC Verrewinkel fans cheered their team off the field, for while Testopia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
