Marten Goossens took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anthonio Van Houdtvin. Bilzen Youth Academy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bilzen Youth Academy! The excitement rose when Testopia's Gert-Jan Gallot after 16 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Bilzen Youth Academy's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-1. Jan-Simon Vrints made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rolf Suteweij in the 20th minute. Tommi Lanckneus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Anthonio Van Houdtvin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jos Van Dongel during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Testopia booed when Bilzen Youth Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jos Van Dongel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gert-Jan Gallot, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 34th minute Andris Huyghens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthonio Van Houdtvin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anthonio Van Houdtvin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joris van Hagenborgh in the 35th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joris van Hagenborgh in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anthonio Van Houdtvin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jan-Simon Vrints didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rolf Suteweij went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tommi Lanckneus to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Rolf Suteweij notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Testopia's Jan-Simon Vrints. Jan-Simon Vrints was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tommi Lanckneus struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Anthonio Van Houdtvin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Testopia. Joris van Hagenborgh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joris van Hagenborgh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Anthonio Van Houdtvin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Joris van Hagenborgh cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Anthonio Van Houdtvin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joris van Hagenborgh could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Anthonio Van Houdtvin made a huge save. Rolf Suteweij sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommi Lanckneus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anthonio Van Houdtvin having to make a save. When Johan De Bisschop fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bilzen Youth Academy's protests and gave Johan De Bisschop a yellow card for diving instead. Bilzen Youth Academy:s Anthonio Van Houdtvin showed great skill when he stopped Gert-Jan Gallot:s penalty. Gert-Jan Gallot struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Anthonio Van Houdtvin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Testopia. After having played for 81 minutes, Sebbe De Keijsere managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bilzen Youth Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebbe De Keijsere was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th match minute, Bilzen Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jos Van Dongel to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommi Lanckneus in the 91st minute of play forced Bilzen Youth Academy's goalkeeper Anthonio Van Houdtvin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bilzen Youth Academy's goalkeeper Anthonio Van Houdtvin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tommi Lanckneus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Anthonio Van Houdtvin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bilzen Youth Academy succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Testopia had controlled the match.
