Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) FC Baraque's Gunther Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurenz Roockeloes in the 2nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laurenz Roockeloes during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Koningshooikt 's goalkeeper Pierre-Olivier Portmans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Koningshooikt booed when FC Baraque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joonatan De Vreese didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Koningshooikt 's Jaques Vissenaeken got a free kick in the 20th minute. Ramon Conincx charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramon Conincx the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes, Koningshooikt 's Maurice Van Casteren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gunther Claes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Koningshooikt reached it. Laurenz Roockeloes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC Baraque's zone, Mattijs Godefroid stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gunther Claes came out of the goal and Mattijs Godefroid tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gunther Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattijs Godefroid in the 38th minute of play. After 39 minutes, Giles Ceustermans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Baraque and the Koningshooikt players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th minute, Giles Ceustermans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute Mattijs Godefroid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunther Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Koningshooikt 's Casper Coryn got a free kick in the 47th minute. In the 49th minute, FC Baraque's Ewout Baboeuf dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Gunther Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattijs Godefroid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thierry Verduin kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Koningshooikt 's Casper Coryn got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the game, Jens Van Lier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Baraque's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Koningshooikt the free kick. After 74 played minutes FC Baraque got a freekick which was hit by Jens Van Lier. When Mattijs Godefroid came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Koningshooikt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mattijs Godefroid couldn't finish the play. If Mattijs Godefroid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mathias-Alexander Fouquet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre-Olivier Portmans having to interfere. With 100 minutes on the clock, Casper Coryn commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 99 minutes into the game, one of Koningshooikt :s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Koningshooikt :s Pierre-Olivier Portmans showed great skill when he stopped Thierry Verduin:s penalty. Koningshooikt 's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
